A lifelong resident of Belleville, Jeff Kaiser has been involved in the water and wastewater industry for more than 30 years. In 2008 he joined Illinois American Water as the Director of Engineering. In this role, he managed the budgeting, planning, design and construction of approximately $1 billion in infrastructure improvements across the State of Illinois. Currently, he serves as the Director of State Procurement for American Water, the parent company of Illinois American Water, overseeing the purchasing and contracting of 15 state subsidiary companies and approximately $1.5 billion per year in spend.

Prior to joining American Water, he served as a project engineer and project manager of potable water and wastewater projects for national consulting firms. His experience includes the planning, design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, expert witness testimony, and related engineering work for both private and governmental entities.

He received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and is a registered professional engineer in Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana.
