Glen Carbon, Ill., Dec. 4, 2018… “I am very proud and excited to inform you that after 35 years, the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois has moved from its 800 sq. ft office to over 2,000 sq. ft that will enable us to continue to expand our mission and enhance our communities,” said Kevin Powers, President of the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois.
On Monday, December 3, 2018, the Leadership Council celebrated its new office space at 104 Magnolia Drive, Suite B, Glen Carbon Illinois. A large crowd gathered at the new location for a ribbon cutting and open house. In attendance were Leadership Council officers, executive committee members, board members, and community representatives.
The Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois works to unite the region for economic growth through its coalition of nearly 250 board members who are leaders in business, industry, workforce, education, and government.
“We continue to grow as an organization and more office space was needed. We are thrilled to be in the new space and look forward to what the next 35 years brings,” said Dr. Ronda Sauget, Executive Director and CEO of the Leadership Council.
