As Senior Vice President and Partner of Millennia Professional Services, Gary Hoelscher is responsible for the strategic planning, marketing, and management of Millennia’s Fairview Heights and St. Louis offices, and is the corporate lead on qualifications, certifications, insurance, and mentoring for Millennia. He also functions as technical lead on Millennia’s water resources projects, including serving as project manager for many of the company’s major water resources projects. The vast majority of Mr. Hoelscher’s engineering and project management experience has been on water resources projects, including comprehensive storm water studies; dam and levee inspections, analyses, and design; flood studies; and floodplain mapping projects. Mr. Hoelscher has provided these services to municipalities, state agencies, industries, and private developers and property owners.
Gary Hoelscher currently serves on numerous committees and holds key positions with several organizations, including Chairman & President of the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois, active member and former chair of the Leadership Council’s Levee Issues Alliance Committee, the Bank of Belleville Board of Directors, the American Consulting Engineers Council of Illinois Regional Meeting Co-Chair, Vice President of Metro Alliance FC. Mr. Hoelscher is also affiliated with the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers, the Southern Illinois Builders Association, the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) and the American Public Works Association.
Mr. Hoelscher earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Missouri, and Ohio; and he is an ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager.
