The Leadership Council and Southwestern Illinois Development Foundation has partnered with the Union Pacific Foundation for a campaign called “On Track for Success.” The goal of the campaign is to inform students and parents about fulfilling careers in the railroad industry, particularly with Union Pacific. “On Track for Success” is part of the Leadership Council’s Building Workforce 2030 program, which reaches out to thousands of students, parents, educators, and other key influencers to develop a talent pipeline in STEM careers.

Union Pacific has also partnered with the Manufacturing Institute to develop an interactive tool that allows users to take a 3D tour of a railyard. It is intended to promote manufacturing and industrial careers, particularly among middle schoolers. Click here to take a look.
